5. Steps to Student visa Canada

Canadian Immigration requires international students from India to be tested for Immigration Medical Examination from compassionate doctors. Students will need to book an appointment and visit the listed doctors for a medical examination, perhaps a week before they can start their Visa Application. This gives the doctor enough time to verify and upload the required documents. Booking an appointment in advance at the nearest facility / doctor according to a list of compassionate doctors is always advised.

The panel doctor will perform a thorough medical examination and may refer you for chest x-rays and laboratory tests. Once your test is completed, the doctor will send the results to the CIC.

6. English Language proficiency test

Although you do not have to have it at the time of application, we strongly recommend that you appear and obtain your English Language School before you start the Visa Application Process. As such, you would need to bring your English language points to confirm your admission to the Universities, Colleges and Institutions  of Canada. TOEFL, IELTS, etc. all are welcome.

7. Statement of Intent

When you apply for a Canadian Student Permit, you will need to submit an article stating the purpose of your trip to Canada and why you chose a particular institution. This will be ordered as an optional document in the checklist but we strongly recommend that you submit the same.

In the event that you apply online, you will also need a credit card to pay the application fee. Canadian Visa Application Fee is CAD 160. Keep in mind that the system only accepts credit cards not debit cards. Also, it does not have to be your credit card. You can also use your parent’s cards, as long as you have explicit permission to do so.

  1. Transcripts, diplomas, degrees, or certificates from your schools.
