B.C. has now given more than 9,000 invitations to apply for provincial nomination since the beginning of the year.

British Columbia welcomed 422 immigration individuals in two Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws held on September 28, 2021.

Since February, British Columbia has been leading two separate rounds of invitations two times per month as a feature of its PNP program. Because of countless individuals enrolled in the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) in specific occupations, B.C. has been holding an extra draw to adjust the requirements in all areas of the provincial work market.

The BC PNP intends to bring in foreign workers who are needed in the region and who wish to become permanent residents of Canada.
