Higher the vaccination rates, lower the case numbers. 80 percent of Canadians are vaccinated with first dose and over 50 percent are fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated US citizens and permanent residents could be permitted entry in mid-August.

As said by Trudeau government, 75 percent of people should be fully vaccinated to allow reopen the borders. The 14-days mandatory quarantine is no longer required for fully vaccinated Canadians and other exempt travellers since July 05,2021. The government will announce new measures on July 21,2021.
