International education acts a primary contributor in Canada’s economic system. International students spend billions on tuition, accommodation and other expenses. Ontario is hub of foreign students in Canada. As we are heading towards the global pandemic recovery, Canada’s International Student Program plays a vital role in our economic recovery.

Student Direct System (SDS) was originally launched in 2018 for accelerating processing especially for eligible students. Thorough information is provided upfront to the officers to assess the application and grant the final decision quickly. A total of 14 countries is now offering SDS to students. Below listed are the names of 7 added countries:

• Colombia
• Costa Rica
• Peru
• St Vincent and the Grenadines
• Trinidad and Tobago
