1. Express Entry
Express Entry is hiring a skilled foreign worker to support the candidate’s permanent residency through an economic immigration program.
The Canadian Government asserts that hiring foreign workers could be lucrative for the local employers in order to meet the labor shortages when Canadians and permanent residents are unavailable. In this government supports the higher-skilled workers based on their potential to become economically established in Canada and to help the employers to meet the shortages of their skilled labor.
If employers wish to fill the vacant spaces, then they can hire skilled foreign workers and support their permanent resident visa application under Immigration, Refugees and Canadian Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry System. The job offer must meet the criteria of 1 of the listed economic immigration programs. These programs include:

  • FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM (FSWP)
    The employer must be offering a job for:
    – The job position must fall under NOC O, NOC A and NOC B (high- skilled position such as management, professional, scientific, technical or trade occupations)
    – Working full-time (a minimum of 30 hours of work per week)
    – At least a year of working
    – A non-seasonal position

  • FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES PROGRAM(FSTP)
    The employer must be offering a job for:
    – An eligible skilled trade or technical occupation (NOC skill level B)
    – Working full-time (a minimum of 30 hours per week)
    – Working for at least a year
    NOTE- Under this category, the employment offer can be made by up to two employers

  • CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS (CEC)
    The employer must be offering a job for:
    – The job position must fall under NOC O, NOC A and NOC B (high-skilled position such as
    management, professional, scientific, technical or trade occupations)
    – Working full-time (a minimum of 30 hours of work per week)
    – At least a year of working
    – A non-seasonal position
    NOTE- Under this category, the international candidate must have at least a year’s full-time (or an equivalent amount of part-time) skilled work experience in Canada within the 36 months before applying for the permanent residency.

    – Having skilled work experience in Canada for at least 1 year, in last 3 years before applying which can be met in three different ways like full-time at 1 job (30 hours/week for 12 months=1,560 hours)/ equal amount in part time work (15 hours/week for 24 months= 1-year full time)/ full- time work at more than 1 job (30 hours per week for 12 months at more than 1 job= 1-year full-time work
    – Gained work experience by working in Canada while under Temporary resident status with the
    eligibility to work
