What is NCLEX ?

Ample opportunities are there in the USA for the Nurses as the skill is high in demand and there is a shortage in the Healthcare Sector. It hardly matters that you have completed your Course apart from the USA. All you need is the right approach and guidance to start your career in the USA.

Good news! You may be eligible to take the NCLEX! If you graduated from any country, you will need to complete a State Board of Nursing requirements.

The NCLEX exam, also known as the National Council Licensure Examination, is used by state boards of nursing to decide whether or not a candidate is ready to begin practicing as an entry-level nurse. This comprehensive exam touches on a number of nursing concepts and is only open to students who have already completed an accredited nursing program. There are two variations of the NCLEX, one for registered nurses (RNs) and one for practical nurses (PNs), although the registration process and exam content of these two exams are extremely similar.

Requirements

Nurse Candidates do not need to be U.S. citizens to take the NCLEX, applying for a Work permit as a Nurse in the USA is easy now with ICC Immigration. If you need help in applying for NCLEX, you may register at ICC Immigration, for easier and quicker NCLEX processing. The requirements are:

  • A bachelor’s degree in nursing from any school is required.
  • IELTS (Academic) – with minimum 7.0 in Speaking and overall not less than 6.5

HAVE A NCLEX BUT DON’T KNOW HOW TO SECURE A JOB?

During the visa screening process, foreign-educated nurses must show that they have received an education that is substantially equivalent to their US-educated peers, have demonstrated English proficiency through a rigorous English proficiency exam, and have passed the same US licensure examination (NCLEX-RN) that is required of US-educated colleagues in their profession.

As you can see, there are a number of subtle issues that need to be addressed through these processes, so most applicants or their employers may retain an immigration Consultant to facilitate the process. Hiring an Immigration Consultant means adding legal fees to your immigration case, but often, avoiding mistakes can save money and time down the road – and prevent visa denials and even removal from the U.S. We have a deep experience and will help you at each step with your work visa.
